He’s over 2000 years old, and a former soldier in Caesar’s army who was rewarded for saving his general’s life with everlasting undeath. Cass is no better or worse than your average vampire, he’s just troubled by conscience; that irritating little hangover from his human life. Conscience vs. killing humans to stay alive… Hmmmm….? The unending compulsion to bite down, slide incisors into veins and drink vs. remorse for doing what comes naturally for a vampire… what to do? Follow Cass’s adventures as he works out this little conundrum by hunting and killing only those who deserve it, and loving every warm, salty second of it.
